No. 22 - Go to a live sporting event

My life is full of sports! Between football, rugby, martial arts, hockey, tennis and badminton I've seen a lot of matches and a lot more training sessions! So this may seem like a strange one to be on the list, but I do love watching sport. So here are the live sporting events I've been to so far... and most of them are with Ryan!!

#1 - Ireland rugby - sometime in the early 00s and again on 27/02/2022

Alan and I went down to watch Ireland v Australia years ago, and I loved it, but I can't find any photos from then ðŸ˜ž. However my second experience of watching Ireland came this February when I went to watch Ireland v Italy in Dublin as part of the Six Nations 2022. Ryan and I went down for the day on the train and enjoyed watching Ireland win right in front of us!

#2 - PSG v Monaco - 24/04/2019

Ryan and I went to this match during his AQE trip and the atmosphere was electric! The game didn't start until 9pm so my main worry was making it across Paris after it was over, but the game itself was fabulous. Watching Neimar Jr. and MBappe actually play and score goals in front of us was truly amazing!

#3 - Northern Ireland v Lithuania - 12/11/2021

Yet again, another match with Ryan! He has been to lots of NI games with his dad, but this was my first one. Cue the vast amount of extremely stupid questions!!! And finding amazing things to look at, like the corner flag in the wind and the subs weird ways of warming up - there was too much to look at, I kept forgetting the match!

#4 - Spurs v Morecombe - 09/01/2022

Yet again a match with Ryan! This was a special one but because it was his team - Tottenham Hotspurs playing in the FA cup. At the start the big stars weren't on, but after half time Kane came on along with several others since they weren't winning!! A great day - albeit a long one, since we went and came home on the same day.

#5 - Ulster rugby v Leinster - 12/02/2022

This match was going to be a treat at the start of the year - New Years Day - but because of another outbreak of COVID it was postponed. SO it was great to eventually get to watch the Ulstermen playing their main rivals. It was a wet and windy night but we won so we all went home very happy!

Can't wait to see what's next!
