No. 19 - Go to visit the Colosseum (Rome)

After starting in Venice for our 40th birthday trip, we got the train down through the Italian countryside to Rome. While we were there we visited the Trevi fountain, the Vatican and the Colosseum. 

It was such a beautiful day and we realised that we got in just in time as it was closing early so that the Pope could do the Good Friday Stations of the Cross at the Colosseum.
