No. 106 - Go to the beach and swim in the sea

I loved swimming in the sea in the Mediterranean - much easier than trying to swim in the sea at Portstewart!

So yeah - here's a picture of me and Karen enjoying the sun and swimming in the ACTUAL Mediterranean!

No. 90 - Go on 50 dates with A

I am starting to really value time with my hubby - not that I never did before, but with the kids being older we get more time to do things together. So I am going to document  50 dates! The first one was a very special Christmas date to see Handel's Messiah at the Waterfront...

No. 87 - Watch 50 movies

I also love watching movies - especially Marvel movies - so here is the list of movies I've watched from today on!

No. 86 - Read 50 books

I love reading! I have so many books its crazy - and so many more on kindle. But I do love holding an actual book and reading it so I try to buy them as much as possible.

This list will document the books I read from today on... and hopefully I'll hit 50 at some point!

No. 79 - Go to see Niagara Falls (Canada)

I went to Niagara Falls with Mum, Dad and the girls on a family holiday to Canada and the US. It was a fabulous holiday and I will get lots of photos to put up when I get a chance. For now this stock pic of the falls will have to do!

No. 71 and 72 - Go to see the Mona Lisa and the Eiffel Tower in Paris

When I took Ryan on his AQE trip to Paris these were two things I checked off my list!

#71 - Go to see the Mona Lisa

Firstly, we walked right past where you turn into the room it was in, and then the crowds were atrocious! But it was lovely to say I have now seen it in person!

#72 - Go to see the Eiffel Tower

We didn't go up because we're not great with heights! Maybe the next time - it'll be a great excuse to go back to Paris!

No. 61 - Get to a healthy BMI

I am on a big journey for this... I have been overweight for most of my life and I am at a stage (well over-due) to get the weight off and keep it off. So my starting weight was 16 stone 10 and so far I have lost 3 lbs.

                Starting weight - 16 stone 10                             Goal weight - 10 stone

                Starting BMI - 40.17                                             Goal BMI - 18.5-24.9

Let's see how it goes!

No. 55 - Go swimming with dolphins

After Alan and I got married we decided to wait until the following Easter to go on a honeymoon. The catch was that we took Jonny with us - Alan's 14 year old brother! We went to Orlando and then on to the Bahamas to stay with Alan's oldest brother Bryan and his wife, and that's where we went swimming with dolphins! It was so much fun!

No. 45 - Have afternoon tea

There is nothing nicer than a fancy afternoon tea with friends or family. Nothing! I've enjoyed afternoon tea at the Galgorm, The Conservatory, La Mon, McKees and many many other places. This was the afternoon tea that we had for Mum's 70th at the Conservatory at the Grand Hotel in Belfast...

No. 41 - Have a spa day

I love a good spa treatment, and when it comes in the form of a spa day its even better! I've been to the Pure Day Spa, the spa at the Galgorm, at La Mon Hotel and Roamer beauty salon. All have been fantastic and I can't wait until my next appointment!

With Mum, Kat, Grainne and Rachel

No. 26 - Go to a concert

I love concerts! I have been to quite a few and I have loved each of them!

Let's go through the list so far...

First we have Chris de Burgh - back in primary school with Mum and Dad

Then we have Westlife - I took my sister Rachel and it was fab!!

Then we have P!nk - I've been to see her twice and she was out of this world!! We went with a group of friends, including Susanne, Sarah and Christine!

We have the wonderful Gaither Vocal Band - with Alan

And the Gaither Homecoming tour with Alice

And finally Ollie Murs with Ryan :)

No. 25 - Go to the ballet

I have been to the ballet before - it was actually 2014 and I went with my mum to see Swan Lake in the Waterfront Hall. But I really want to go again. So I'm marking it off in case I don't get another chance, but I really hope I do!

No. 23 - Go to see a musical

I haven't been to a musical in a while, but I have been to see four in the years up to now. So these are the ones I've seen.

No. 21 - Go to see an opera

I have partially done this - as in I went to an amazing opera-mix in Venice when Alan and I were in Italy. The opera was a mixture of famous songs from different operas and it was fantastic. The actors/singers were so funny and real performers. And the music was great! I definitely enjoyed it and want to see a proper real one when I get the opportunity.
